World Vegetarian Day

Via my aim is true. So today, I'm going to cook veg. OK, I cook vegetarian every day for myself, but usually cook meat for my family. I'll talk more about my vegetarianism in the future.

So this morning, a commercial for the Obama campaign comes on and I ask Em who Obama is. He uses his hands to pull his ears so they stick out. Obama is the man with the big ears to Em. :-P

Weasel and precious gems?

Ermine and pearls. I took my blog name from the lyrics of "The Lady Is a Tramp" as sung by Ella Fitzgerald. It's one of my favorite songs and Ella is one of my favorite artists.

5 things I can live without, but don't want to

1. Tarte brand makeup - I wear the cheek stain and lip balm daily and love both.
2. Mossimo elbow length tees - I wear these pretty often too. So basic and easy to style.
   
3. My hand knit socks - A friend made me a pair for my birthday last year and no other socks compare! I really should learn to knit socks...
   
4. My library card - There may have been a time in my life when I didn't have one...but that must've been before I could read.
   
5. Olives - One of my favorite foods. I eat olives almost every day.
